Jeffrey is a market support executive at Dorsal Engineering Limited, which employed a total of 1400 employees. Dorsal Limited has a common cafeteria for all employees ranging from the managing director to the office staff.

The cafeteria serves lunch between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to cater to be able to cater to everyone who comes to work during the day hours. Jeffrey usually arrives for lunch at 1:30 p.m. along with the other colleagues from marketing, materials and various manufacturing sections.

On January 24th, he had an important meeting with his department head at 1:00 p.m. and consequently decided to have an early lunch.

He arrives for lunch at 12:00 noon and finds that operatives from many other functions have already occupied all tables but there is space for at least one person to sit and share with the operatives at a few tables.

Jeffrey chooses to skip lunch.
